Kona settles in to her new home

Unfortunately for Kona the integration with Cleo didn't go as smoothly as it could have.  With Kona's safety foremost in mind she now has a new home a mere 8 houses away with two great humans and two other fun dogs.

A new dog has entered the realm...

Kona is about 3.5 years old, has lots of energy (compared to her housemates, who are both 13) and is currently getting training at a local dog training facility - well, strike that. Kona's new humans are getting training, and Kona is attending.  It is has been a very informative process.

There is no firm assessment as to her breed or breeds as of yet.  A sample has been sent for genetic analysis, for what that is worth (it at least is a good source of amusement - Brutus, the 70 lb black lab-and-maybe-chow-and-maybe-pit came back as 50% Bichon Bolognese, 12.5% Brussels Griffon, 37.5% unknown).

So with three dogs and two chickens on a ~5,000 sq ft city lot the chaos factor is rather high.

The remodel project was completed in 2009.  Planning started in January, construction was finished in August.  The last finishing touches are being applied.  Here is a collection of photos from the project:
